# Black Chantilly Lace Border for Saree – 31 cm Wide, Eyelash Edge  

This is a **black lace border for saree** made in fine Chantilly lace. It looks bold, elegant and festive.

Both edges have large, rounded scallops. Each scallop is filled with small rings and tiny flowers, and fan-shaped leaves sit where the scallops meet.

In the centre, V-shaped sprays of small **black flowers** sit on an open, sheer net. This lets the saree colour show through.

Both edges are finished with soft **eyelash scallops**. The design is mirrored, so the top and bottom look the same.

### How to Use

1.  Measure the saree hem, pallu or sleeve you want to cover.  
    
2.  Lay the lace flat and pin it in place, keeping the scallops straight.  
    
3.  Stitch along the inner edge by hand or by machine, using a fine needle and black thread.  
    
4.  For a saree, stitch the lace along the hem first, then along the pallu.  
    
5.  You can trim around the scallops for a shaped edge.  
    
6.  If pressing is needed, use low heat with a press cloth. Do not iron the lace directly.
