Dyeable Laces

White and ivory Italian lace trims made to be dyed. Every lace in this edit is fine polyester on an undyed white/ivory base, so designers and boutiques can colour-match it to the exact shade of a lehenga, saree blouse or bridal gown, instead of settling for a ready-dyed colour that is almost right.

      Lace styles in this collection

      • Embroidered net lace – floral motifs on sheer net with a scalloped edge, 14 cm wide. Soft enough for veils and sheer necklines.
      • Eyelash lace – rose and teardrop-petal designs with fine eyelash edges, 17.5 cm and 22 cm wide, for sleeve overlays, off-shoulder necklines and hem borders.
      • Guipure lace – medallion rosettes with no net backing, 18 cm wide. Heavier and more structured, suited to capes, boleros and statement borders.

      Where designers use dyeable lace

Bridal gowns, wedding and reception outfits, saree borders, blouse sleeves and necklines, dupattas, scarves and veils. Because the base is undyed, the same lace can stay ivory for one bridal gown and be dyed blush, sage or deep maroon for the next client.

      FAQs

Which dye works on this lace?

These laces are polyester, so use a dye made for polyester or synthetic fabrics. All-purpose dyes made for cotton will not take evenly. Always test on a small cut piece before dyeing the full length.

Can I use the lace without dyeing it?

Yes. The white/ivory base works as it is for bridal, pastel and festive outfits.
