A white sewable patch in spun poly, 7 x 6 inches.
At the centre is a round medallion made of small eyelets in rings. Fine bars spread out from it in all directions, like a spider web, and hold the whole design together. Across the top sits a row of shell-shaped scallops, each one ribbed like a small fan. The lower part narrows to a rounded base with a scalloped edge.
The shape is wide at the top and narrow at the bottom. It looks like a crest or a hand-held bouquet, so it has a clear top and bottom when you place it.
The design is open all over. Your fabric shows through the web, and the white thread stands out against it.
