White Sequin Heart Patch (Spun Poly)

A white sequin heart patch in spun poly, 3.7 x 3.9 inches.

The centre is a solid white heart ringed with rows of sequins. The rows follow the heart shape, one inside the other, so the shine runs all the way around. Two more heart outlines sit behind it, one on each side, which gives a layered look.

Around the heart runs an open zigzag border, finished with a row of small round dots along the edge. The border is see-through, so your fabric colour shows between the threads.

The result is a patch with two textures: shine in the middle and open thread work on the outside.

It is a sew-on patch with no glue, so you stitch it by hand or by machine. The white thread can be dyed to match your fabric. Sequins do not take colour the same way as thread, so test on one piece first.

How to Use ?

1. Place the patch on the garment with the point of the heart facing down.
2. Pin the top two curves and the bottom point.
3. Stitch around the outer border with small stitches in white or matching thread.
4. Add a few stitches near the centre heart, between the sequin rows, so the middle does not lift.
5. Do not pull the thread tight. The open border should stay flat.
6. Finish by knotting the thread on the wrong side.
