Product Description

A round gold button with a mirror-smooth face, crossed by two raised stripes that run diagonally from edge to edge. Each stripe is made of tiny beads set in a line, like a fine rope of gold dots.

The design is all about contrast. The polished surface reflects light like a small mirror, while the beaded stripes add texture and break the shine into a pattern. The diagonal direction gives the button a sense of movement that a plain dome button does not have.

At 20 mm (32L), it is a classic size for jacket fronts. It gives a sharp, tailored finish to coats, blazers and suits, and a refined gold accent to sherwanis, bandhgalas and Jodhpuri outfits. How to Use

1. Mark the button positions and make buttonholes of about 22 mm.
2. Decide the direction of the stripes before sewing. Keep them slanting the same way on every button, or mirror them on the left and right cuffs.
3. Sew through the shank and the fabric five or six times with strong, doubled thread.
4. Tie off the thread on the inside of the garment.
5. Wipe off fingerprints with a soft cloth once the buttons are attached.

A.32L (ligne) is about 20 mm across. It is a standard size for the front of blazers, coats, and sherwanis.

Q.Do the stripes have stones in them?
A.No. The stripes are raised metal beading, part of the button itself. There are no stones to fall out.

Q.Does the polished surface scratch easily?
A.Like any mirror-finish metal, it can show fine scratches if rubbed against rough surfaces. Store spare buttons separately in a soft pouch.

Q.Is this button suitable for both men's and women's garments?
A.Yes. The clean round shape and simple stripes suit blazers, coats, sherwanis and dresses alike.

Q.How many buttons do I need for a blazer?
A single-breasted blazer takes 2 or 3 front buttons, and a double-breasted one takes 6. One pack of 8 covers the front of either style.
