Product Description
White Square Guipure Lace Patch (Spun Poly)
A white square Guipure Lace Patch (Spun Poly), 4 x 4 inches, with a scalloped edge.
In the centre is one large daisy with long, slim petals that spread out like rays. Around it, the whole square is filled with small daisies, joined by fine threads. All four sides end in soft scallops, and each corner comes to a gentle point. The pattern is open all over, so the fabric below shows through.
Because it is a square, it has straight sides that line up easily with a pocket, a placket, or a hem.
It is a dyeable patch. It comes in white, and you can dye it to match your fabric. It is a sew-on patch with no glue, so you stitch it by hand or by machine.
Where to use it
- Salwar suits and kurtas: on the front panel or the side, as a patch for a suit
- Pockets: on a kurta, shirt or jacket pocket
- Sleeves and cuffs: as a square panel near the wrist or elbow
- Tops and tees: at the centre back or on the chest
- Tote bags and pouches: on the front, like a framed motif
- Cushion covers and table linen: at the centre or in each corner
Loved by boutique owners, fashion designers and DIY creators
- Boutique owners use it on suits and kurtas. A square motif on the front panel gives a plain suit a designer look.
- Fashion designers turn it by 45 degrees and use it as a diamond. One patch gives two different looks.
- Garment manufacturers and exporters join several squares side by side to make a wide border or a full yoke.
- Tailors use it as a ready pocket patch on kurtas and shirts.
- DIY creators and fashion students use it for cushion covers, bags, and patchwork projects.
Why it works
A square is easy to plan with. Round patches leave gaps when you place them together. Squares sit edge to edge, so you can build a border, a panel or a grid.
It works as a square or a diamond. Keep it straight for a pocket. Turn it on its corner for a diamond motif on a kurta front or a sleeve.
The pattern is fine, but the patch is sturdy. At about 10 grams, it has enough body to hold its shape on the garment.
White is only the start. Dye it to match your suit fabric for a tone-on-tone finish. If you are looking for designer patches for suits that do not look heavy, this is a good place to start.

FAQs
Q.What is a guipure lace patch?
A.It is a patch made in guipure style, where the design is formed by threads only, with no net fabric behind it.
Q.Can I dye this patch?
A.Yes. This patch is dyeable. Use a dye made for polyester, and test on one piece first, because the shade can vary.
Q.Is this a sew-on or an iron-on patch?
A.It is a sew-on patch. It has no glue on the back and needs to be stitched.
Q.Can I use it as a pocket patch?
A.Yes. It can be stitched on top of a pocket as decoration. To use it as a working pocket, stitch three sides and leave the top open, with a lining behind it.
Q.Can I join several patches together?
A.Yes. Place them edge to edge and stitch each one down. This makes a border, a yoke, or a panel.
Q.How big is this patch?
A.It is 4 inches x 4 inches (10 cm x 10 cm), and weighs about 10 grams.
Q.How many patches are in one pack?
A.One pack has 1 piece.
Q.How do I wash it?
A.Hand wash gently in cold water with mild detergent. Do not scrub or wring. Dry flat in the shade. Iron on the wrong side on low heat, with a cloth in between.
