Product Description
Oversized White Floral & Leafy Guipure Patch (Spun Poly), 17.7 inches
An oversized white Guipure Patch (Spun Poly), 17.7 inches long and 14.1 inches wide.
A very large bloom fills the lower half. Its petals are wavy and ruffled, and each one is marked with fine vein lines that run from the centre to the edge. They spread out in every direction, like an open peony or a fan of large leaves.
A tall stem rises from the bloom. It carries smaller ruffled flowers and buds, and narrows towards the top. This gives the patch its long, growing shape.
This is a huge patch, made to be the whole design. One piece can cover the front of a skirt, most of a kurta front, or the full back of a jacket.
It is a dyeable patch. It comes in white, and you can dye it to match your fabric. It is a sew-on patch with no glue, so you stitch it by hand or by machine.
Where to use it
- Skirts: across the front panel, with the large bloom at the hem
- Kurtas, tunics and kaftans: on the centre front
- Jackets and coats: across the full back
- Gowns and dresses: from the waist down one side of the skirt
- Dupattas, stoles and capes: as one large corner motif
- Cushions, curtains and wall panels: as a statement décor piece
Loved by boutique owners, fashion designers and DIY creators
- Boutique owners use a single piece to turn a plain kurta or skirt into a statement outfit.
- Fashion designers use it as the main artwork of a garment, often dyed to the fabric shade for a rich tone-on-tone surface.
- Bridal and occasion wear makers use it on gowns, capes, and lehenga panels.
- Garment manufacturers and exporters order it in bulk as a large applique patch for limited styles.
- Home décor makers and DIY creators use it on cushion covers, curtains, and framed textile art.
Why it works
One patch does the work of many. At this size, there is nothing to arrange or join. You place one piece, and the design is complete.
The vein lines give it movement. They follow every petal, so the patch looks alive and not flat.
It is giant but light. The open thread work keeps it soft, so even thin fabrics can carry it.
White is only the start. White on black is dramatic. Dyed to match, it becomes a subtle textured surface.

Key Features

- Tall stem of smaller blooms and buds

How to Use ?
- Dye first, if you want a colour. Dry the patch fully and flat, as a large piece can lose shape if hung wet.
- Lay the garment flat on a table and place the patch on it.
- Pin generously. Start at the centre of the large bloom and work outwards to every petal tip and the top of the stem.
- Tack it in place with long loose stitches before the final stitching.
- Stitch along the outer edge, then add stitches along a few inner vein lines so the large bloom lies flat.
- Remove the tacking and knot the thread on the wrong side.
FAQs
Q.What is a guipure patch?
A.It is a patch made in guipure style, where the design is formed by threads only, with no net fabric behind it.
Q.Can I dye this patch?
A.Yes. This patch is dyeable. Use a dye made for polyester, and test on one piece first, because the shade can vary.
Q.Is this a sew-on or an iron-on patch?
A.It is a sew-on patch. It has no glue on the back and needs to be stitched.
Q.How big is this patch?
A.It is 17.7 inches (45 cm) long and 14.1 inches (36 cm) wide.
Q.How many patches do I get?
A.You get 1 piece per order. Some photos show two patches side by side to show that every piece is the same size.
Q.Does a patch this large need extra stitching?
A.Yes. Stitch the outer edge first, then add a few lines of stitching inside the large bloom, so it does not lift or sag.
Q.Can I cut it into smaller pieces?
A.A tailor can separate the top stem from the large bloom. Cut carefully along the joins so the thread work stays intact.
Q.How do I wash it?
A.Hand wash gently in cold water with mild detergent. Do not scrub or wring. Dry flat in the shade. Iron on the wrong side on low heat, with a cloth in between.
