Product Description
This button is closer to a piece of jewellery than a fastening. The centre is a raised dome, packed with small white pearl-look beads that sit close together like a cluster of seed pearls. Around the dome runs a ring of pavé-set rhinestones in a gold metal frame.
The two textures play off each other. The pearl-look beads give a soft, milky lustre, and the rhinestone border adds a sharper, brighter sparkle around the edge. Set in gold, the effect is rich and bridal.
A shank at the back lifts the dome above the fabric, so the cluster and the stone border stay fully visible. At 23 mm (36L), it is a statement size for front closures. How to Use
- Mark the button positions, leaving enough space between them so the domes do not touch.
- Make buttonholes of about 25 to 26 mm, as the raised dome needs extra room.
- Sew through the shank six or seven times with strong, doubled thread. This button is heavier than a plain one, so it needs a firm hold.
- On soft or fine fabrics, add a flat backing button or a small square of interfacing on the inside.
- Fasten and unfasten by holding the metal edge, not the bead cluster.
