Product Description

A white Guipure Lace Patch (Spun Poly) with long hanging fringe, 10 inches long and 3.5 inches wide.

The top is a panel of nine small squares, set in three rows of three. The squares alternate. Some hold a leaf motif and the others hold an open floral grid, so the panel looks like a patchwork.

Long fringe hangs from the bottom edge. The strands are thin and straight, and they move when you walk. The fringe makes up more than half of the total length.

It is a dyeable patch. It comes in white, and you can dye it to match your fabric. It is a sew-on patch with no glue, so you stitch it by hand or by machine.

Where to use it

  • Shoulders: one on each side, as a shoulder patch for a dress or jacket
  • Blouses: on the sleeve or the back, with the fringe falling down
  • Kurtis and tops: at the waist, hem, or sleeve ends
  • Dupattas and stoles: on the corners
  • Bags and clutches: on the front flap
  • Cushions and curtain tie-backs: as a hanging detail

Loved by boutique owners, fashion designers and DIY creators

  • Boutique owners use it as a ready fringe detail on blouses, kurtis and dupattas.
  • Fashion designers use it on boho, western and festival styles, often dyed to the collection shade.
  • Costume and dancewear makers use it in pairs on shoulders and sleeves, where the fringe moves on stage.
  • Garment manufacturers and exporters stitch several pieces side by side to make a fringe band, and order them in bulk.
  • DIY creators and fashion students use it on denim jackets, tote bags, and home décor.

Why it works

It adds movement. A flat patch stays still. This one has fringe that swings, so the garment looks more alive.

Panel and fringe come as one piece. You do not need to buy a patch and a fringe trim separately and join them.

Only the panel needs stitching. You stitch the square panel in place and let the fringe hang free.

White is only the start. White fringe on black or denim stands out. Dyed to match, it blends in like part of the garment.

Key Features

  • Guipure Lace Patch (Spun Poly) in white
  • Nine-square panel with leaf and floral grid motifs
  • Long hanging fringe below the panel
  • 10 inches long with fringe, 3.5 inches wide (25.5 x 9 cm)
  • Dyeable so that it can match any fabric colour
  • Sew-on, with no glue on the back

How to Use

  1. Dye first, if you want a colour. Let the patch dry fully and comb the fringe straight with your fingers.
  2. Place the patch with the fringe hanging down.
  3. Pin the four corners of the square panel.
  4. Stitch around the panel only. Leave the fringe free.
  5. On shoulders, stitch the panel on top of the shoulder so the fringe falls over the arm.
  6. Finish by knotting the thread on the wrong side.

FAQs

Q.What is a guipure lace patch?
A.It is a patch made in guipure style, where the design is formed by threads only, with no net fabric behind it.

Q.Can I dye this patch?
A.Yes. This patch is dyeable. Use a dye made for polyester, and test on one piece first, because the shade can vary.

Q.Is this a sew-on or an iron-on patch?
A.It is a sew-on patch. It has no glue on the back and needs to be stitched.

Q.Do I need to stitch the fringe?
A.No. Stitch only the square panel. The fringe should hang free.

Q.How big is this fringe patch?
A.It is 10 inches (25.5 cm) long with the fringe, and 3.5 inches (9 cm) wide.

Q.Can I use it as a shoulder patch?
A.Yes. Use one on each shoulder, so order two pieces for a pair.

Q.How many patches are in one pack?
A.One pack has 1 piece.

Q.How do I wash it?
A.Hand wash gently in cold water with mild detergent. Do not scrub or wring. Dry flat in the shade. Iron on the wrong side on low heat, with a cloth in between.
