Black and Gold Trim with Chain – 2 cm Braided Edge
This is a black and gold trim with a golden chain down the centre.
The base is a soft black woven tape with neat braided, looped edges on both sides. A gold-tone curb chain runs along the middle. The black frames the chain, so the gold looks bright and clear.
At 2 cm wide, this chain lace is slim enough for necklines and sleeves, and still shows well on hems and jacket edges.

How to Use ?
- Measure the edge you want to trim, and add 2 cm extra for the ends.
- Cut the tape with sharp scissors. Cut the chain with small pliers if needed.
- Pin the lace in place, keeping the chain line straight.
- Stitch along both braided edges with black thread, by hand or by machine. Keep the needle away from the chain.
- Fold the cut ends under and stitch them flat.
- Press the fabric from the wrong side on low heat. Do not iron over the chain.
