Black Glitter Lace with Golden Chain – Lurex Trim, 2.5 cm

This is a black glitter lace made of soft, shaggy lurex strands.

The lurex catches the light and gives the lace a dark, glittering shine. Down the centre runs a golden metal chain, which adds a clean line of gold through the black sparkle.

The strands stand out on both sides, so the lace looks full and textured, not flat.

How to Use

1. Measure the edge you want to trim, and add 2 cm extra for the ends.
   
2. Cut the lace with sharp scissors. Cut the chain with small pliers if needed.
   
3. Pin the lace in place, keeping the chain line straight.
   
4. Stitch through the base of the lace with black thread, by hand or by machine. Keep the needle away from the chain.
   
5. Fold the cut ends under and stitch them flat.
   
6. Brush the lurex strands gently with your fingers to fluff them after stitching. Do not iron the lace.
